First, thanks again for your wonderful site for us DIY dudes. I purchased an 08' 650, and with your help I have changed spark plugs, oil, transmision oil and final gear oil. I did run into a complexing issue. You stated that I would need 1 quart of oil. Of course, I became confused when it didn't take the quart, and freaked. Then I got my book and it said the capacity for the transmision was 12.2 OZs US. Big sigh of releaf. All is well.
ReplyDeleteFYI, you may remember I wrote you before concerning a problem with the scoot losing RPMs when stoping for a traffic light. Then when I would start off again the scoot would sputter as though flooded till it got underway. Solution--I checked the spark plugs, and the gaps were 2 to 3 degrees too open. While I had them out, I replaced them with new ones properly gaped. All is well. Thanks again for your help.
